Job creation in Cotillas Towers is a reality in the last twelve months, as evidenced by the official data released recently by the Regional Employment and Training (SEF).
These positive figure indicates will fall by 4.29% of unemployment in the town, resulting in the addition of 116 residents in the labor market from February 2013 to the same month in 2014.
Thus Cotillas Towers is one of the municipalities of the region where most pronounced has been the decline in unemployment, from the town of 2,705 registered unemployed a year ago to 2,589 reflecting in the background statistics last month.
By age groups, the sharpest unemployment in the town year decline has been given in the figures for people aged 30 to 34 years (13.56%), 35 to 39 (9'75%) of 25 to 29 years (7.53%), 20 to 24 years (7.45%) and 40-44 years (7.33%).
By genres, falling unemployment has focused entirely on the male segment, experiencing a reduction of 9.45% (from 1334-1208).
Levels before the crisis
As explained Councilwoman Torrena Jobs, Isabel Franco, "these figures put unemployment levels in the population as existing before the start of the crisis, what motivates them very encouraging."
"We should further motivate to continue working responsibly to further develop strategic actions capable of generating stable and quality employment, taking as key axes promoting entrepreneurship and occupational and employability training, dialogue with the different economic agents and social studies and periodic reports on the local economy and any claim or deposits of new jobs, "says Franco.
As a sign of this urge to undertaking workplace Torreño Consistory, in the beginning of 2014 this has materialized in a package of investments, with the financial support of the Regional Government, involving more than 258,000 euros.
With this amount the launch of a series of initiatives that will work this year to more than twenty people and among which a mixed employment and training workshop for cleaning surfaces and furnishings in buildings and premises shall bear a Free training course on "administrative activities in the relationship with the customer" and the provision of technical and administrative staff at the Women's Business Incubator of the town.
