On the morning of Tuesday March 18 Mayor Cotillas Towers, Domingo Coronado, and the president of the Federation of African Associations of Murcia, Mady Cisse Ba, have signed a collaboration agreement between the two institutions.
The ceremony took place at the offices of Mayor and City Council Torreño this agreement will serve for both institutions to initiate a cooperative effort.
Thus, the joint work will be in areas-such as mediation and intercultural understanding, training, management of immigration and multiculturalism, the promotion of women, gender equality and youth, orientation and insertion labor, etc..
It also seeks to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial drive in the African immigrant community, to create and manage their own businesses here in the region of Murcia and in their countries of origin.
"One of the goals we welcome most fondly is the future creation of the House of Africa-Nelson Mandela 'in Cotillas Towers, which is a physical space with regional, national and international projection that allows the collection and dissemination activities mainly people born in Africa and living in the Region of Murcia, "said Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado.
