The women's team of "Petanque Club La Salceda" Cotillas Towers and recently proclaimed regional champion, having held on the pitch of the "Puerto de Mazarron Bowls Club" prior to the Championship of Spain club during the past 23 to 30 March and 6 April.
With this title Torrena players now number two this year as in previous individual a player of "La Salceda" won the regional champion, was another second and a third.
The Single Championship held in Alicante Spain between the next 9 and 11 May, while the club will take place in Seville from 6 to 8 June.
Also, in late May, a female team Torreño club will participate in the international tournament held in Ibiza, match in the previous year were champions of "Mayor Cup".
"I want them to get to our champions our heartfelt congratulations, from the Department and from their neighbors," says Torreño Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta, reminding players that "La Salceda" are common in these successes.
