The body of Civil Defence volunteers Cotillas Towers will provide a series of workshops at institutes of Secondary Education (ESO) of the municipality with the aim that students learn the basics of first aid.
So, they explain the different techniques to address in the first instance to an injured person, affecting cardiopulmonary resuscitation (commonly known as CPR).
These training proposals, which are aimed at students from 1st to 4th of ESO, will take place on 9, 12, 13, 16, 19, 20 and 21, both the IES "Salvador Sandoval" as in the IES No 2 located in the district of La Florida.
Extensive work
This body local volunteers, with a staff of about 50 members, performs daily activities in the town, mainly in the coordination of actions in Torreño such as the festivity (which take place next August) or sports.
It also extends its collaboration like this, learning activities in schools of the town and various environmental awareness activities, such as mock rescue, rescue and first aid.
In addition, this body lends a hand in Driver Education campaigns are conducted annually at local colleges, are present at the weekly markets and provided no warnings storm, flood, fire, etc..
to help citizens, Local Police and Fire.
