The literary contest "Young Talents Prize Poet Salvador Sandoval" Towers Cotillas delivered on the evening of Thursday May 22 awards its third edition, in a ceremony held at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" in the framework of the "Literary Thursdays" celebrating "Las Torres Literary Association".
An event organized by such an association and the local Department of Culture, which was divided into two types: A, for high school students and vocational training;
and B, for students of compulsory secondary education (ESO).
In addition, the contest had two categories: poems, verses 14 to 30;
and the short story, of one to three pages.
Thus, the best mode A poem was "Time", with Bogdan Polezhayev won 300 euros, while in the B mode Susana Martinez was the winner with "Dressed in black" (200 euros).
In the section on the best stories in the form A was Miriam Olmos "A furtive tear of love" (300 euros) and B won the victory Férez Mary with "Sunset" (200 euros).
Moreover, under this May issue of the "Literary Thursday" the "Las Torres Literary Association" held a tribute to the immortal author Antonio Machado, doing various readings of his poetic pieces.
