School Summer Holidays organized by the Department of Equal Cotilas Towers and develops in the "San José I" school of the village, with a weekly average attendance of about 200 children.
This fun and educational proposal is made to the August 28 (August 15 will be a public holiday) and involves children born between 1 December 2002 and 31 December 2010 (both dates inclusive).
"For the month of July we enabled 200 seats per week, with 50 and 150 without dining room, so we're practically covering the quota," says area councilor Torrena, Gloria Fernandez, who notes that "for August will reduce the number sleeps up to 80, 30 with and 50 without dining room, because it is a month that traditionally parents go on vacation and decreases demand for this service. "
Two types of offer
So, there are two types of "kids" who attend this "Summer School Holidays" Torrena: those who make use of the dining room, attending from 8 to 15 hours and are priced at 8 euros a day;
and those who do not enjoy this service, ranging from 8-14 hours and pay 3 euros a day.
"The aim of this Summer School is to encourage and facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life of the people who work outside the home or occupational training done in times of school holidays," he explains, recalling that are made regularly in the town other similar proposals at Easter and Christmas.
