The City of Towers Cotillas has initiated an information campaign in the town to alert their neighbors of scams being perpetrated by false reviews unsolicited household supplies such as water, electricity, telephone or gas.
"We want to focus especially in the group of the Third Age, which are more likely to be victims of these criminals who pose as false workers and earn their trust to commit their crimes," explains Torreño of Public Safety, Pedro José Noguera.
