The Department of Environment Cotillas Towers has completed the replacement of trees had to be felled in the park of the local Constitution for safety reasons due to their poor condition.
"The company responsible for the care of parks and gardens in the town recommended to take off four pines and three poplars because they fall risk," says Councillor responsible for the area, Inmaculada Fernández, works that were made early last October.
"After several years of growth, their roots had no depth, being very close to the ground, and even the trunks of poplars were dry and hollow," said Fernandez, who recalls that these trees the playground in the park were together, in a place that offers plenty trafficking.
Now, these gaps have been replaced with more appropriate for this type of land species.
Thus, the suppressed trees have been replaced by two hackberry ("Celtis Australis"), two ash ("Fraaxinus Angustifolica"), two sweet acacias ("Mimosa Dalbata) and a privet 25/30 cm gauge (" Ligustrum japonica " ).
