Successful participation in the first day of the 29th Regional League Cross, held on the morning of Sunday November 16 in Las Torres de Cotillas and featured nearly 750 athletes spread over the various proposals categories.
The absolute victory went to Frenchman Guillaume le Torreagüera based in Mouaer in the men (followed by José Ángel Cifuentes and Pablo García), while in the female the winner was Fuencisla Juan, followed by Maria Isabel and Maria Leonor Pelegrín Oltra.
Organized by the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) in collaboration with the local Sports Council and the "Club Athletics Las Torres" in the Natural Park of the Issuer Torreño municipality, this test played in the following ways, both men and women: baby, juvenile, infant, cadet, junior, junior, promise, senior and veteran A and B.
"We have enjoyed a high participation, with outstanding athletes of our land and other neighboring as Albacete, Alicante, Almería and Granada," says the mayor of Torreño Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta, who notes that "this race has become and highly anticipated event in the calendar of all cross country runners ".
