On Monday December 1st mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, presented at the Plenary Hall of the Consistory Local officials and employees of the City Torreño the Municipal Budget 2015. This event, organized once again by the Department of Management Control, Quality, Training and Internal Communication Torrena, was part of the "Internal Communication Plan" Hall Torreño which was launched in 2005.
Budgets amounting to 16,933,427 euros, which increased by 7.51% over last year and with the Torreño wants to "restore public part of the effort to end the crisis," said Coronado .
In this line, the residents of the municipality will benefit from a significant containment taxes, such as 10% reduction in the rate of IBI (plus 5% discount per household bills), and the descent of some Taxes, epitomized by the use of the sports.
"We also want to continue making it easier for torreños and torreñas paying their taxes by postponements and subdivisions, which the city takes more than 240 days," said the first mayor Torreño.
A municipal accounts a year are turning to social policy, increasing significantly their games, such as the urgent need has grown almost 66%.
It has also included a round of over one million euros to various municipal infrastructure investments such as the construction of a roundabout on the N-344 to the crossroads in the district of San Pedro (150,000 euros) and a gateway that allows cross the river Segura (150,000 euros), the installation of several underground containers (66,000 euros) and the construction of a roundabout on Avenida Juan Carlos I (60,000 euros).
More than one million in investments
Coronado thanked the attendees for their work on behalf of the residents of the municipality, "to which continues to provide quality services, even assuming some that are not under municipal jurisdiction as the Municipal Office of Consumer Information, Sports, the Early Childhood Center, Social Services ... ".
"We remain in good line to address the crisis, with accounts adapted to everyday reality, and continue with the policy of cost containment already started in 2008," Coronado said, recalling that measures such as the Centralized Unit Purchases have allowed the City Council "reach 2015 with an economic health envied by many other municipalities".
