On the morning of Monday December 15 has officially opened the Bethlehem Monumental Day Centre for the Elderly in Las Torres de Cotillas, with the blessing of the young Jerónimo Hernández, recently ordained deacon and well liked in the town where it is known as "Jeromín" has done under the watchful eye of head pastor of the Church of Our Lady of Salceda, D. An event in which the Choir and Rondalla center, led by the deputy local mayor, Pedro Cabrera, performed various Christmas carols before the hundred spectators gathered.
This inauguration, which was also attended by the Councillor for Social Services, Fina Almela, and Personnel, Lorena Lara, was the culmination with an appetizer with Christmas products and sweet wine.
"The Senior Center conducts not only at Christmas but all year active and participatory partners is because they are a very important group of our town," said Cabrera.
