The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ Crucified Towers Cotillas this year celebrates its 50th anniversary and to celebrate this special birthday held various activities throughout 2015. The opening fire will be the exhibition "Family Art", which opens Saturday January 24 (20:30 pm) in the exhibition hall of the House of Culture "Pedro Serna".
The event, which will feature Torreño mayor, Domingo Coronado, and Councillor for Culture, Gloria Fernandez, are invited all residents of the municipality.
This exhibition will be active until next February 14 will feature free admission within the schedule of these municipal facilities.
This Torrena Brotherhood, founded in 1965 on the initiative of a group of local youths who formed a theater group for income, participating in four processions of the local Easter with their black robes, with two images: the Holy Christ Crucified and the Angel Victorious.
"His procession par excellence is of Silence, Holy Thursday, when walking the streets of the town in a framework of recollection and darkness with his image holder" said Fernandez.
