The renovated paddle the Municipal Sports Center Cotillas Towers had their baptism of fire on Saturday January 17 with the championship paddle in one category Male organized by the local Sports Council.
The tournament, which played 8 couples, took place along all morning by league system and eventually the title went to the pairing of Mario Meseguer and Ginés Pérez.
The runner-up in the tournament, which was chaired by a pleasant atmosphere of coexistence, went to Pedro Muñoz and Joaquín Antonio Egea.
The winners received their corresponding prize and all participants a free snack consisting of water, energy bars and fruit.
To end the sports day, all players shared lunch at a residence in the village.
The good level shown by the players was the dominant trend of an activity that was favored in their development by recent improvements in facilities which exported.
"The upgrading works of the paddle in the Municipal Sports Centre have included the placement of protective nets in the funds, reinforcing profiles and improved lighting," says the mayor of Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta.
