Representatives of Las Torres de Cotillas signed a great performance on Saturday February 7 at the regional final of badminton sport School Age, which took place in Hall "Prince of Asturias" of San Pedro del Pinatar.

So, Ivan Egidos and Francisco Tomás Martínez (school "Susarte") champions in the juvenile male category while José María Turpin and Juan Pedro Castellón (IES "La Florida") and Maria Nieves Brao, Carmen Vidal and Maria Hernandez ( IES "Salvador Sandoval") were champions in male and female cadet respectively.

"It's a great result harvested by our representatives, a total of 17 students who had passed the regional round of the North day last December 13 in Hall 'Antonio Peñalver' Molina de Segura" says local Councillor for Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta, highlighting the high turnout of young torreños in this program promoted by the Directorate General of Youth and Sports (DGJD) of the Regional Government.
