Every year next March 8 celebrates the "International Day of Working Women" and to commemorate this date the Department of Equal Opportunities Cotillas Towers another year has prepared a varied program of activities.
These proposals have been presented in the morning of Thursday 26 February at the local council by council area, Gloria Fernandez and the president of the association of women "Isabel González" of the municipality, Amalia Perez.
The program will start tomorrow, Friday February 27 (21:30 pm) with the inauguration of the painting exhibition workshop of that sorority.
The event will take place in the exhibition hall of the House of Culture "Pedro Serna," an exhibition featuring the works of these amateur painters torreñas and can be visited for free.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 4 (17 hours) with the traditional tasting homemade sweets by the members of the association "Isabel González" evening of coexistence which this year takes place in the parlor "Oscar's" in the town .
A gastronomic event will be continued on Friday, March 6 (21 hours) with the "Dinner coexistence of women", to be held in the "Casa Pacorrín" restaurant with a covered 20 euros.
Big Day
The most notable day of the calendar of activities will be on Sunday March 8, for which have scheduled two theatrical events with free admission at the House of Culture "Pedro Serna".
The first is the representation of the children's play "The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Ballerina" (12.30 hours), which is payable by the company "Somnis Teatre".
The second will stage the members of the local association of theater "La Peñeta" dropped the title "Female Plural" (20 hours).
