The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities assess the May 19 the level of knowledge of English for the first thousand students who have studied all primary education in bilingual mode.
The general director of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity, Begoņa Iniesta, today announced the initiative, which is done with the official language schools during his visit to the College of Education and Primary Vista Alegre Towers Cotillas, he performed with the Councillor for Infrastructure and deputy mayor of the municipality, Pedro Cabrera.
"This school is one of 25 that started the implementation of Spanish and English bilingual program in 2009-2010. Since its inception, to the present course that already 223 schools that offer this type of education, have been checking the progress of pupils with these external evidence of a more faithful know how the degree of acquisition and development of linguistic communication competence in English, "said the CEO.
The test result this thousand students of 6th of Primary provide evidence in making decisions for improving the program.
It will facilitate information centers so that they can establish methodological adjustments and organizational and curricular measures for incorporation in improvement plans within the initiative '+ Languages';
and inform families about the degree of acquisition of competence assessed the students.
The test takes to guide the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which provides a common basis for the development of language programs, curriculum guidelines, examinations or manual throughout Europe.
It describes in a comprehensive way what they have to learn to make students to use language to communicate, as well as the knowledge and skills they need to develop in order to act effectively.
They will evaluate the four basic skills of linguistic communication: oral and written comprehension and oral and written expression.
The first three skills are applied in individual written tests, always with external centers staff, and oral expression will be evaluated over the next week for teachers of the Official Language Schools of the Region of Murcia.
New call to incorporate new schools
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has opened the new call for the incorporation of primary schools to Bilingual program with the estimate that 40,000 students from over 260 schools in the region pursue their studies in Spanish and English next year.
One of the novelties of the new resolution for incorporating bilingual schools program is the advancement of three months of the call with a dual objective: that families can learn all schools in the next academic year will be bilingual before they start the process of schooling;
and management teams and teachers have more time to plan the course in top condition.
