Torreño athlete Angel Salinas goes on.
And it has two new national medals, silver and bronze, which won this past weekend in the category of over 60 years of Veterans Championships held in Spain San Sebastian.
And the Torreño signed a great performance throughout the weekend, which allowed him to sign two major results: he was second in the final 200 meter dash with a time of 28.17 seconds, behind Juan Carlos Rodríguez (27.19) and ahead of Juan Carlos Etxebeste (28.82);
and was third in the 60 meters stopping the clock in 8.50 seconds on a podium completed by Juan Carlos Rodríguez (8.10, championship record) and José Manuel Bao (8.27).
"Angel has not only won two medals, demonstrating its importance in athletics veterans of our country, but it has done beating their personal bests, making it clear that his spirit of excellence tends to improve every day" highlights local Councillor for Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta, who with the President of the Athletics Federation of Murcia (FAMU), Juan Molina, Salinas congratulated in person for his feat they arrive in Basque lands.
Recall that Angel Salinas has a great sporting achievements, which has numerous medals in Spain Championships veteran in the fields of speed.
