Torreño poet José Martínez was recently named the winner of the "V LiterarioPedro Hernández Salinas Contest" organized by the "Agrupació Rubinenca i Cultural Arts ANCA" Ruby (Barcelona).
And it has done with its "Roses of Alexandria," which has been imposed on the 300 poems submitted to this literary contest.
"This is a poem dedicated in life to my good friend and colleague, Trini Lopez, nothing more to give birth to his son a few weeks after we leave forever, leaving her orphaned son, and stuck in my heart this poem, "says the author, who won the first prize of this contest in the category of works in Castilian.
Martinez, who was the winner of the "IV Floral Games" national character Cotillas Towers in 2010, also won in 2013 with the poem "Feeling dying" in the "IV International Competition Carmen Montero Medina" organized by the foundation namesake and the City of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Another outstanding achievement under his belt is the mention that obtained in 2014 in the "Poetry Competition Joaquín V. González" of Argentina, through the Argentina Society of Letters, Arts and Sciences (Salac) with the poem "Love in spring ".
