The scout group "Ithaca" Cotillas Towers will continue to manage for four years the Nature Classroom local tourist lodge.
On the evening of Tuesday April 21 Torreño mayor, Domingo Coronado, and the president of the organization, Bartolo Gomez, signed the renewal of the agreement between the two institutions, which regulates the sale of these facilities and collaboration Torreño scouts in various municipal activities (mainly related to the environment).
"This group is dedicated to cleaning, maintenance and improvement of these municipal facilities, such as planting trees in the environment, and also used for their activities, allowing fully enjoy the spirit in which this classroom was built" Coronado says, noting that "the 'Ithaca' group is a dynamic community in the municipality, who continually demonstrates his love for nature and the environment".
Torreño hostel in the urbanization of "El Coto" next to the Rambla Salada and part of the "Alverdes" Network Consortium Northwest Greenway is a modern and attractive facility with 22 seats spread in five rooms of 4 and 6, all with en suite bathroom.
It also has a large multipurpose room and dining area, making it ideal for retreats, workshops, internal and small format courses and all kinds of celebrations.
