The next July the Universidad del Mar again another year to Las Torres de Cotillas and this time it will offer the course "Intercultural education in the Region of Murcia", which was presented on the morning of Wednesday 29 of April.
The ceremony was presided by the local hall, Pedro Cabrera, Councilman Education, Alfonso Sandoval, the rector of the Universidad del Mar, Pedro Miralles, and the course director himself, Jose Antonio Rabadan.
This proposal (www.um.es/unimar/ficha-curso.php?estado=V&cc=51347), whose enrollment period closes on July 13, will be held between 20 and 24 July in the House Culture "Pedro Serna".
25 teaching hours, a maximum of 180 students and a price of 65 euros for members of the UMU and UPCT (85 euros for the general public), offers 2.5 free credits and ECTS credit - CRAU
"The goal of this course is to promote partnerships between social and educational institutions working multiculturalism, and contribute to the development of multiculturalism in the social and educational fabric in the region of Murcia," said Sandoval, adding that also it seeks to "spread good practice in intercultural education and foster innovation and research among professionals and teachers working multiculturalism".
Several proposed topics
This proposal social and educational agents, teachers and researchers, university students, research fellows and anyone interested in the subject heading.
Each day will focus on a theme: on Monday 20 intervention projects in the CARM immigrants;
Tuesday the 21 on host projects and local projects in municipalities of Murcia and Cartagena;
Wednesday 22 the educational intervention on multiculturalism;
Thursday the 23 on intercultural education in the educational system;
Friday and 24 on Resources multiculturalism.
