Rugby and Cotillas Towers have an affair.

And the city is becoming a real regional reference for this sport, hosting various competitions either in the form it.

So last Saturday April 18 municipal natural grass field hosted the regional final of the championship of "touch rugby" (no contact) of "2014-15 School Sports Program", which already hosted the last season.

"This is a variant in which leaves aside the contact to become a dynamic breakout game," said Councilman Sports Torreño Gines Perez Iniesta, who notes that local school attended school "The Park".

The tournament was played in two categories: Benjamin (200506) with eight participating teams and in which the winner was the school "Severo Ochoa", followed by "Pasic Campillo" and "Our Lady of Fatima";

and juvenile (2003-04) involving four teams and the podium was for "Our Lady of Fatima", "Pasic Campillo" and "Severo Ochoa".

"It was a morning in which reigned the good atmosphere, the love for the sport and healthy living in the discipline itself," says Perez Iniesta, who presided over the awards ceremony with which this regional tournament was closed.
