Jose Alejandro Lopez, a student of 4th Secondary Education (ESO) IES "Salvador Sandoval" Las Torres de Cotillas was proclaimed on Saturday May 9th National Champion League oratory school debate of the BBVA Foundation.
After clinching the regional title, Alejandro was presented at the tournament in Valencia to defend an exhibition on the theme "Is science a threat to humanity?"
and gain the award, which has also brought him a cultural trip to Madrid.
"This year has been created in the middle a debating club, coordinated by Concha Vicente and Isabel Zunica, in which eight students of 4th of ESO participating: José Alejandro Lopez, Antonio Almagro, Aritz Minguez, Mario Garcia, Miguel Molina Ana Roa, Maria Nieves and Carlos Salinas Brao "note from Torreño IES.
"Our team has participated in the championship, type league, sponsored by the BBVA Foundation and signed him as coach Manuel Garcia, a former student of our school, and member of the Debate Club of the University of Murcia," they explain.
