Last April 24 was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Murcia the local phase of the "VI Olympiad of Economics and Business", in which Pedro Guerrero and Sonia Dólera students of IES "Salvador Sandoval" Las Torres de Cotillas were classified in fourth and sixth place respectively.
In this event they involved a total of 175 students of 2nd Baccalaureate across the region and the center Torreño presented to four students of Social Sciences: besides the two already mentioned, also participated Victoria Gabarrón and Lydia Gonzalez.
The team, led by Paul Espinosa, professor of economics, was presented to this contest of academic and educational nature aimed at disseminating studies matters related to the world of economics and business.
"It also seeks to establish stable ties between the School, the secondary schools, the professors of economics in high school and all students interested in these areas," they explained from the institute.
