The Department of Environment is making delivery to schools in Las Torres de Cotillas of a set of blue and yellow containers for selective collection of paper and cardboard and light packaging (plastic, tin, aluminum and brick).
So Torreño school may deposit into their corresponding containers generated in packaging breakfast and used paper and cardboard for recycling.
"It is necessary that recycling is assumed since childhood, making it part of their day in the educational process, because this way they carried out almost automatically when they become adults," said Councilwoman Acting Environment, Inmaculada Fernández , who notes that the school can cooperate well in reducing the use of raw materials, water and energy and ultimately, in caring for the environment
These containers are being distributed in the activities marking the "World Environment Day" - are of size smaller than can be found in the streets of the town, as they have a capacity of 120 liters compared to other deposits 800 or 2200 liters.
