School Summer Conciliation Cotillas Towers, organized by the Department of Social Policy and Equality, closed its doors after having been celebrating throughout July and August at school "Cervantes" in the municipality.
As a farewell to the participants, on the morning of Thursday August 27 the first deputy mayor, Angel Gonzalez, and the area councilor, María Dolores Sánchez, visited the center to say goodbye to the children participating in this initiative traditional in the locality.
"This initiative is twofold: firstly, to promote and facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life during the summer; and, secondly, to provide as has been done for over 12 years, the social service dining Children for children in need during the summer, "Gonzalez said.
And in the municipal activities for children 3 to 12 years have participated for free a total of 45 children belonging to local families in economic and social deprivation, of which 35 have also received room service.
"These attentions are assigned based on the data we have in the Department of Social Services, covering those basic needs of our neighbors," said Sanchez.
