The Minister of Culture and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo, and the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, today inaugurated the new sports center of the Barrio del Carmen, located next to the Florida Institute of Secondary Education, and that completes the facilities sports of the city and revitalize the neighborhood that hosts.
This new infrastructure represents an investment of 66,525 euros, is located in an area easily accessible and well connected to the main streets of the town, and has a soccer hall of 40 by 20 meters and another basketball transversely 22 by 15 meters.
The facility has a total of 1,056 square meters, is built on solid reinforced concrete with colored polished finish, and is enclosed with low walls of reinforced concrete and mesh fencing.
These tracks are added to the municipal sports offer, which already has similar ones in La Loma, San Pedro, La Florida and La Media League.
In addition, there are extensive facilities in the sports center, located in the municipality Catholic Kings Avenue.
This has two football fields 11, one with artificial turf and one with natural grass;
four paddle courts;
three tennis courts;
a pediment;
a climbing wall;
room table tennis;
and archery area, sauna, gym multiaparatos area, two pavilions covered a skate-board area, two outdoor sports courts and multipurpose room.
The Minister Noelia Arroyo stressed that "these sports facilities Cotillas Towers continues to advance its neighbors to provide high quality sports facilities that, in addition to allowing sports and contribute to the health of citizens, are a meeting point and revitalization social ".
