The House of Culture Torrena returned last Saturday, November 21 to be the basis of the activities proposed by the Department of Culture Cotillas Towers.
And, with free admission, the "Association of Friends of Music" offered a big concert on the occasion of the feast of its patron saint, Santa Cecilia.
The work, which had a great response from the public that grazed the full in the stalls, had two parts: the first musicians offered Torreño Festive Overture parts (André Walgneln) Baghira (Ferrer Ferran, with Ana Roa solo) and Jumper Clarinet (Oscar Navarro, with Aitana Egidos solo);
and the second was heard Santander (E. Rosillo), Ireland (Robert W. Smith) and Reflections of this Time (Ted Huggens).
To complete the cultural month, on Sunday November 29 (12.30 am) the company "Pupaclown" staged on the tables of the House of Culture "Pedro Serna" the children's play "Tom Thumb".
A work in which the young protagonist, with the help of his seven-league boots, an evil ogre face to save his brothers from a terrible end.
With an input of 5 euros, this proposal is sponsored by the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA) in its "Scene Plan".
