In the evening on Saturday December 12 the priest Diego José Gil read the proclamation of Christmas Cotillas Towers in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of the pulpit of the town, which he owns.
An act that officially began the festivities in the town and was organized by the local amateur theater group "Tejuba" in collaboration with the Department of Culture.
Before the speech of Gil, two members Torreño very young amateur theater group recited a Christmas poem by local writer Salvador Sandoval.
Also, attendees could enjoy the performance of various carols in charge of the club "Pulpitero Corner" in the town.
A Christmas celebrations that come loaded with activities, in which no shortage events of all kinds, as various concerts, solidarity flying lanterns released "Light up your smile" (December 27), the auto Magi by the local group "Tejuba" (January 2) or the traditional Three Kings (January 5).
