The hamlet of La Media Legua de Las Torres de Cotillas already has a completely renovated park, after the rehabilitation work carried out in the area on Avenida de la Media Legua in the municipality.
These efforts have received an investment of 50,713 euros and have allowed the creation of a modern and functional space, which features a children's play area, closed with metal railing, and a zone of stay covered by a pergola steel structure.
This work has enabled the elimination of the unevenness that was in the park to get a platform where two new zones are located, and the renovation of pavements garden with concrete paving in pedestrian areas with continuous rubber in the playground .
In addition, the existing road between the garden and housing has been paved with rustic paving to accentuate the character of restricted traffic street, and has endowed the space with new street furniture, such as benches, litter bins and street lighting.
To generate an environment with environmental quality, it has created a green wall -parallel the avenue de La Media Legua- screen acting as acoustic and visual isolation of traffic that road.
