The Minister of Education, Science and Research, CARM, Juan Ramón Medina Precioso, has visited this afternoon, Thursday 18 September, the city of Las Torres de Cotillas to inaugurate the recent reforms undertaken in the public schools " San Jose "and" Cervantes. "
A visit in which the director of the regional government has been accompanied throughout by the local mayor, Domingo Coronado, the director general of Department, María José Jiménez, and Councilman Torreño Consistory Education, Pedro Cabrera, and helped him to see first hand the expansions and improvements made recently in both schools in kindergarten and primary.
Thus, in a first moment, Precious Medina has officially opened the new pavilion auxiliary "Cervantes."
A two storey building and 840 square meters in total floor houses dedicated to kindergarten, three classrooms, a multipurpose room, toilet for disabled people and teachers, a clean room and boiler room.
Also, on the first floor, for the primary cycle, have enabled five classrooms, a smaller, two toilets for students, two teachers toilets, an office and a warehouse.
In addition, this new school building "Cervantes", which cost 760,000 euros, has a lift for disabled use.
New dining room and kitchen
After visiting this new pavilion annex to the "Cervantes", the authorities have gone to school "San José" in order to inaugurate the latest reforms in the center.
Improvements have included the construction of a building of 324 square meters and a single plant, located near the main pavilion, which houses the new cafeteria, kitchen, pantry, toilets general-masculine, feminine and tailored, " patio toilets, male and female apparel, store room and boiler cleaning.
In addition, the matrix building "San Jose" has been subjected to a series of reforms to accommodate two new infant classrooms, a toilet and a store where teachers had previously been the premises of the old dining room and kitchen.
Finally, note that the work carried out in this school have had a budget of close to 350,000 euros
