The Department of Planning, Public Works and Services Cotillas Towers has received a grant of 35,000 euros from the Ministry of Economy, Enterprise and Innovation CARM through the Directorate General of Trade and Crafts, which go to improving the business environment of Los Vicentes and affect the area between Bolivia and Velazquez streets.
The aim is to put an end to the advanced state of deterioration that has this area of the municipality Torreño obvious signs of neglect among them broken pavement subsidence, metal parts with corrosion processes or obsolete furniture, among others.
The refurbishment work on the business environment of Los Vicentes, which will start soon and will contribute to the enhancement of an integrated space of city life can unite the physical and social infrastructure of the town, contemplate the upgrading of street furniture and lighting and improving accessibility of the area.
Street furniture
Among the fitting that the Department of Urban Torrena will carry out between Bolivia and Velazquez streets stands the comprehensive demolition and replacement of 14 fords pedestrian, replacing the existing pavement on the other pavement, curb placement, the regularization tactile surfaces, the placement of 14 banks and many other ornamental flower pots in strategic areas, regeneration of flower beds with organic matter and plant variety and, finally, the installation of 10 sets of street lighting consisting of staff from 8 meters equipped with two lights, one for road lighting and one for sidewalk lighting.
The deadline for execution of works is two months from the date of commencement of the same, while the budget that has improved the business environment of Los Vicentes, between Bolivia and Velazquez streets, is 50,000 euros of which should be recalled, the Directorate General of Trade and Handicraft of the CARM finance 70%.
