The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has co-chaired with the mayor Sunday Coronado Local Security Board Towers Cotillas in which we have analyzed the different aspects of the safety of citizens in the municipality.
At this meeting, Gonzalez Tovar has reiterated its confidence in the role of local boards of Security to improve coordination of the activities of the National Police and Civil Guard and the local police of the municipalities in our region.

Moreover, the government delegate highlighted the increase experienced by the Civil Guard post Sewer, covering the population of Las Torres de Cotillas, in recent years.
"Since 2004, the endowment has grown Sewer barracks by 150 percent, because that year there were 16 Civil Guard and now has 40 personnel."
In addition, the delegate was pleased by the addition of 11 new agents to place catalog last August and the expansion in two more guards before the end of this year, to complete a staff of 42 agents.
With regard to crime data in Las Torres de Cotillas, González Tovar-emphasized the increase over the same period of 2007 - in the number of crimes solved by 5 percent, and most especially the detainees who have been increased by 54 percent.
