The mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, has asked the Regional Government for their cooperation under the local public schools Torrena, work estimated at more than 505,000 euros according to the report submitted by the City Council and was approved by the Municipal School Board in February this year.
The petition has been presented by Coronado in his meeting Tuesday 11 November with the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca, which has made the first official meeting of the two since Sotoca holds the position.

Another issue discussed at this meeting was the construction of the second school of secondary education in the municipality, a matter already dealt with Coronado Juan Ramón Medina Precioso, Sotoca predecessor in office.
The counselor informed the mayor Torreño that his Ministry is awaiting the decree of the City Council delegation, that the Consistory Torreño be put out to tender the project of this center will be located in the hamlet Torrena Florida.
Subsequently, an agreement will be signed between the Ministry and the City Council to establish annual funding of this investment.
"It was a successful meeting and the director has been very responsive to the needs of Cotillas Towers," said Coronado, who has suggested that Sotoca assured him that work on the proposed settlement Torreño schools.
