The future school pulpits Cotillas Towers, funded entirely by the Regional Government through the General Directorate for a total grant of 2,523,000 Euros and UTE awarded the Etos-Prom, and is becoming a reality .
So on the morning of Monday December 1 Torreño Mayor, Domingo Coronado, and Town Planning, Yolanda Muñoz, and Education, Pedro Cabrera, visited the works of this new school, which stands in an area new expansion of the town, have already begun (with the fencing work, cleaning and clearing of the site) and have an implementation period of approximately 16 months.
The center will be built on a municipal-owned land area of 11,800 square feet (compared to IES Salvador Sandoval "), of which 8,000 correspond to the parcel dedicated to the new school and 3,700 in the area of the plot in which is to locate the Center for Child Care, currently under construction.
Three pavilions
Regarding the disposal of the whole, this school of the pulpit for a school and Primary Education consists of three pavilions that will house, each of them, the spaces reserved for the first Early Childhood Education (Module C), Primary and General Administrative Services the second (Module B) and block Gym, multipurpose room and the third auxiliary units (Block A).
In addition, the new center will have separate entrances for parking of vehicles and students, disabled toilets in each of the modules, adequate lighting, heating and ventilation systems and a lift in the flags of two plants (Module B) for Primary Education.
The center projects accessible to persons with reduced mobility across its surface, and all premises have proper direct natural light and ventilation.
The aim of this modular structure and clear of the facilities is to allow maximum flexibility and alternative uses of their space.
New requirements
Mayor Torreño has affected the value of "this new work of great importance for the municipality, as it will be the twelfth school in the municipality."
