The Department of Equal Opportunities Cotillas Towers has already prepared the Christmas school holidays which will open tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23, and until January 5, 2009 - in the classrooms of the school "San José" of the locality.
This initiative aims to encourage and facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life of the people who work outside the home or make occupational training school holiday periods.
In total, 60 places offered to school aged between 3 and 12 years, eligible to attend during the Christmas holiday period from 8 to 17 hours.
The cost of registration is 50 euros per student and includes dining facilities and workshops for younger children can also learn and have fun with activities designed specifically for them, eating properly.
This has been assured the Councillor for Equal Opportunities Torreño Consistory, Ana Belen Fernandez, who also made reference to "the importance of initiatives such great help to many families in the municipality, and thanks to them may combine more ease work and family life. "
Seeking reconciliation
The main objectives of this initiative is that of providing a support service in times of school holidays for families with children (especially lone parents) and that both partners work outside the home and the inconsistency of times between them.
