Civil Guard officers proceeded last week to the arrest of a Department of Statistics of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas as alleged perpetrators of crime of falsification of public documents and bribery.
The investigations that have led to this and other arrests were initiated following several complaints, including one by the City Council of Cotillas Towers, the existence of counterfeit certificates of registration thereof.
These investigations, carried out by the Judicial Police team of Guardia Civil de Molina de Segura, helped identify that official, who was arrested last September 4.
In the course of investigations have also been arrested half a dozen North African citizens who would be the recipients of the forged documents, which would have paid for an amount of money between 500 and 1,000 euros.
