Wednesday morning 25 the Municipal Ecoparque Cotillas Towers will receive a special visit.

And, in the school workshop "Management of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), 4 students of Primary Education schools in the municipality of Torreño visit these facilities to learn more about its operation.

Thus, between 9:30 am until 14 pm, the small school Torreño centers "San José", "Divine Master", "The Park", "Valentin Buendía", "Vista Alegre", "Monte Azahar", " Cervantes "and" Susarte "receive training on the role of the EcoPark in the town, a facility designed to properly store waste that-either by volume or hazardous nature, hinder the municipal waste management in case of deposit containers designed to collect solid waste.

This training will take place in the classroom environmental education available to this Ecoparque Municipal, which normally are organized presentations and courses dedicated to promoting the use of these facilities.

The waste cycle

There, students will learn, among other things, that the EcoPark can collect e-waste, small and large appliances, batteries, oils, motor oils, clothing and footwear, paper and cardboard, pruning waste, fluorescent tubes X-rays, etc..

Similarly, they explain that these wastes are temporarily stored and then are transported to sorting plants, where they are separated, recovered and recycled materials to use back then.
