The director general of tourism infrastructure, Marina Garcia, with the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, and the councilman of Tourism and Youth of the municipality, Pedro Cabrera, today inaugurated a tourist resort in the residential area of El Coto II, Rambla Salada area of Las Torres.
The aim of the hostel is to promote the quality of the offer as a tourist destination that offers the municipality.
With an investment of 459,000 euros, of which 330,000 are provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the rest of the City, these facilities promote tourist attraction of the municipality within the Region.
In addition, the Ministry has awarded a grant of 60,000 euros to equip the facility, amount to which the local consistory has added 68,000 euros of equity.
Located on a plot of 9,280 meters square located in the Rambla Salada, in the residential area of El Coto II, the hostel has two floors, built over a total area of 372 square meters.
Thus, in the lower areas are located and services (kitchen, living room, toilets, bathroom equipment, facilities and cleaning), and a porch on the other hand, at the top are the five common rooms bath with the counting (which allows a maximum capacity of 22 beds) and discovered a lookout terrace.
The location of the building in this environment is more than justified to be one of the last pine site, so that means the installation of it as a starting point for the consolidation and promotion of protective activity of the natural landscape.
The building is designed with the intention of respecting the environment where it is, and for this the only action in the plot are those designed to facilitate access to the building and site of Rambla Salada without alteration of existing vegetation.
