Project in several phases
This work has led to the final phase of a project aimed at "connecting the inhabited areas in the municipality and in particular between different districts of the town," said Muñoz.
A project that has involved a total installation of 150 lighting points, with an investment of € 185,059.10.
"This project represents a significant improvement of services in the districts of San Pedro, La Loma and La Media League, with the consequent reduction of accidents and increased safety of pedestrians using these roads," said Coronado.
The units were installed in five phases.
On the one hand, on the Road to La Condomina Lanes have been 11 public lighting points, with an investment of € 11,615.90.
Furthermore, 37 items have been placed on the Camino de La Vereda (from the Alternative to The Pure, by the river), with a budget of € 37,497.37.
Finally, in the San Juan Road has been done in three stages: first, from San Pedro to Vereda, placed 18 points with an investment of € 18,213.09, in the second, from the village of La Loma, served the € 59,972 budgeted for the installation of 54 points, and the third, opened yesterday.
