On the morning of Saturday 4 July, the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado, and the President of the Autonomous Transport Association municipality, Antonio Romero, signed a collaboration agreement for the management of truck parking on land enabled municipally owned industrial park located in sector I Air Homes in the town (behind the local company "Linseed").
Under the agreement, the said association shall manage the use of parking, which has 5,840 meters square, to offer to its members, while undertaking the maintenance and conservation.
The event, which took place in the same parking purpose of the convention, attended by the Councillor for Urbanism Torrena, Yolanda Muñoz, and other local authorities.
With this measure the local council trying to offer a solution to the problem of theft and damage to vehicles used to transport, for lack of a suitable place to park with the proper security measures are parked on the street.
A circumstance that also causes problems with traffic and pedestrians in the municipality given the large size of the vehicles.
"This is an important aid to our local carriers to develop their work with greater comfort," said Mayor Torreño, who recalled the importance of the logistics industry in the locality.
"Cotillas Towers is a township with an excellent location, near the capital of Murcia, which allows you to have some excellent connections that make him a key point in the industrial and transport sector in our region," said Coronado.
