The City of Towers Cotillas has been to work to prepare for possible infections of influenza A virus in the city and particularly to workers in the Consistory.
For this reason, the September 14th was a municipal committee for action in relation to influenza A, consisting of the Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, who presides, the council of Staff, Angel Gonzalez, the council of Public Health, Alfonso Sandoval, representatives of the unions, UGT and CSIF, the head of the Public Health area, the representative of the Health and Safety Committee, the head of the Planning and Internal Communication, the municipal officers in charge of Occupational Health and Safety , the foreign service representative for the Prevention of Occupational Risks, and the mayoral chief of staff, who perform the functions of Secretary of the committee.
The resolutions adopted at the first session of the Committee were to appoint as its chief technical officer at the Municipal Public Health, Bartolo Gomez, and the resolution of the Health and Safety Committee begin an assessment of the jobs in the City Hall in order to study the risk of infection by Influenza A.
Also, it has also raised the adoption of general preventive measures such as acquiring wipes "hand dryers" paper and hand sanitizer, and the need to design a training and dissemination plan.
