The Civic Center Barrio del Carmen de Las Torres de Cotillas is activated after the summer and has throughout the week various proposals play to offer its neighbors, all of them with free care.

These sessions are taught on one hand, basic vocabulary to communicate in their daily lives and, secondly, they also focused on job search.

Gerontogimnasia and leisure workshops

In addition to these proposals, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11.30 to 12.30 hours in the neighborhood seniors can enjoy gerontogimnasia classes taught at the center.

The objective of this proposal is to introduce healthy habits and attitudes in the world of gymnastics in the elderly and thanks to her improving physical fitness of those who have some type of physical impairment or locomotor problems.

Also, children can have fun on Friday afternoon from the 17-hour workshops leisure.

The president of the Association of Residents of this neighborhood Torreño, José Antonio Pérez, encourages neighbors to participate in these activities, "proposals designed to fill spare time and mostly encouraging their talents and creativity."
