The municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas hosted on Saturday March 13 regional championships in the categories sub'19 Murcia (up to 19 years) and veterans (ages 30 years), with the participation of about fifty Totana players, Molina de Segura, San Pedro del Pinatar, Cartagena, Murcia and Las Torres de Cotillas.

The tournament, which was held at the Municipal Sports Centre of the town in the categories of individual men and women, and men's doubles, women's and mixed, were organized by the Department of Sports Cotillas Towers in collaboration with the Federation of Badminton Region of Murcia.

La entrega de trofeos tuvo lugar al finalizar el campeonato y corri� a cargo del concejal de Deportes de la localidad torre�a, Juan Carlos Mart�nez Box.

Cabe se�alar que las instalaciones torre�as est�n acostumbradas a acoger campeonatos de b�dminton de envergadura, como ya ocurriera en 2009 con la fase final regional escolar en categor�as alev�n y juvenil, en 2008 con otra edici�n del campeonato regional de veteranos o en 2006 con los torneos nacionales en categor�a veteranos y juveniles.
